APPOINTMENT

2. IDV: CREDENTIAL ANALYSIS

  • Review holograms, watermarks, and microprinting

  • Detect anomalies and potential forgeries
  • ID issuer database cross-referencing (DMV)

3. KNOWLEDGE BASED AUTHENTICATION

  • Five multi-choice questions based on public data (county lived in, past address, business worked for, etc)
  • Requires signer to have been in the US for some time to have enough public data to populate questions
  • If unable to pass KBA or can’t generate questions, signer will need a credible witness to vouch for identity

4. THOROUGH DOCUMENT REVIEW

  • We compare file names to the contents of each document
  • All names are examined for consistency
  • Headings, footers, notary blocks and property address are also reviewed for completeness and accuracy
